GOALS FOR NEW POSITION: To bring some innovative collateral solutions to my clients. Would like to also be involved in developing analytical tools that are unique to the industry.

CHALLENGES FACING THE INDUSTRY: One of the bigger challenges is the use of data and how it can be used most effectively. There is large amount of data out there, and most of it is going to waste. I would like to see the industry use that data in a more effective way.

ADVICE: Put your short-term goals behind your longer-term goals. In other words, it makes more sense to work …where you can build a strong background in the industry and somewhere where you are given additional opportunities than (to) work somewhere for the highest dollar. It’s not good to jump around.

OUTSIDE THE INDUSTRY, A DREAM JOB: Investment banking. I enjoy analyzing companies and learning about different types of businesses.
